Position: Tech Lead
Salary: $4000-$5000
Location: Remote or in Tashkent office
Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture & implementation for multiple microservice web applications, orchestrating multi-cloud infrastructure
• Identify technical debt, manage tech debt & improvements roadmap, and architect solutions
• Lead a team of 8 high-performing engineers
• Responsible for the maintenance, and availability of systems in production, under High Availability (99.9%)
• Support customers & respond to hotfixes when alerts are raised based on application errors

Skills and Experience Required:

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in technical leadership, managing software engineering teams, and setting technical direction.
• 7+ years of software development experience with one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Javascript/Typescript, Node.js, Postgres, RabbitMQ
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently
  

Preferred qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience managing teams of software engineers.
• Interest in people management for working groups.
• Experience designing and implementing any of the following: large-scale distributed systems, APIs used by other developers
• Comfortable working across a range of languages and stacks
  
• Ability to speak and write in English and Russian fluently

Position: Backend Developer
Salary: $3000-4000
Location: Remote or in Tashkent office
Main Responsibilities:

• Develop features and improvements in a secure, well-tested, and performant way
• Work with Product and other stakeholders (Frontend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features
• Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, accessibility and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
• Learn, collaborate, and teach other Backend Engineers. Everyone can contribute something new to the team regardless of how long they’ve been in the industry
• Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity
• Exert influence on the overall vision and long-range goals of the team. This could be technical and/or product focused
• Consistently ship moderately sized features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects.

Skills and Experience Required:

• 5+ years experience in designing and building production-level backend applications in languages including but not limited to Node.js
• Excellence understanding of coding best practices and standards, and a desire to implement them into a development team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Russian optional)
